Day 9: Exercise, a medieval village and more locks!

 Another gorgeous day greeted us on Thursday!

We awoke had some coffee and headed out to get some exercise on the books.

The reward from hiking was this spectacular view!

And back on the barge for another yummy breakfast:

Kir Royales were there upon arrival (or rather Creme de Cassis Royales)

Around 1pm we sat down for yet another fabulous meal.  Endive salad with blue cheese dressing and pear slices:

Grilled shrimp with aioli:

Heirloom tomatoes with pesto and burrata:

Lentil, beetroot and caramelized red onion salad with a lemon vinaigrette:

Dessert was magnums (chocolate covered ice cream):
